AI-assisted ground-penetrating radar for the precise location of fibre-optic lines
Overview
Together with Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, OKM GmbH is developing an AI-assisted ground-penetrating radar (GPR) system for the precise detection of non-metallic lines, in particular fibre-optic cables. OKM is responsible for the AI-based signal analysis and system integration.
This project is supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) on the basis of a decision by the German Bundestag.
